We showed at the three trials here in Maryland for the Cherry Blossom cluster, and are very pleased to say we came home with 3 more UDX legs. We are now at 8, which is pretty good since Chase got his first UD leg April 18, of 2008! Only two more to go!
We also got a batch of Obedience Master Points, too – I just haven’t counted them up yet.
Chase is just a few weeks short of his 5th birthday, and I am so proud of him.
We showed today at Wilmington Kennel Club’s obedience trials and Chase earned his 9th UDX leg with nice scores of 190 in Utility and 193.5 in Open. We also showed Saturday, but did not qualify in Utility, so the only thing we got were OM points for his Open score, which was a pretty darned good 195.5.
One more leg to go!
My parti poodle boy Chase finished his UDX title today at Dauphin DTC in Pa. He did it in nice style, taking Second in UB and Third in OB. Along the way he accumulated 21 more Masters Points towards the OM title, and got his first 4 OTCH points.
To the best of what I have been able to determine, Chase is the first standard parti- poodle to earn a UDX, joining Rainbow (Tatania Niagro) and Sadie (Maggie Pierce), who were not standards, but went on to earn their OTCH titles.

The good news is that Chase along withearning his 14th UDX leg today also finished his Obediance masters title. He earned a nice new bone and a day of rest tommorrow.

We just finished our agility trial 2008 season and I thought that you may like to know how one of your offspring is doing. Ganesha was born May 4, 2006 (Kaiser x Dia).
In 2007 Ganesha earned the following AKC titles:
NAP Novice Agility Preferred
NJP Novice Agility Jumpers with Weaves Preferred
OJP Open Agility Jumpers with Weaves Preferred
In 2008 Ganesha earned the following AKC agility titles:
NAJ Novice Agility Jumper
NA Novice Agility
OAJ Open Agility Jumper
OA Open Agility
NF Novice FAST
AXJ Excellent Agility Jumper
In April 2008 he got 1st place in Novice B Standard Agility at the PCA National Specialty.
So right now with his highest titles he is JCPioneer's Ganesha OA AXJ NAP OJP NF
We're very proud of how he is doing and are looking forward to his performance as he matures in 2009. Many top agility handlers have seen his potential, and we hope that he follows in the pawprints of my first Standard Poodle MACH2 Satchitananda XF who is approaching his Master Agility Champion 3 title.

We may be thinking about a new addition in 2010, so please keep us in mind for any agility prospects.

Thought that I'd give you an update on Ganesha. He earned his Master Agility Excellent title on May 23, so is now JCPioneer's Ganesha MX MXJ NAP OJP OF. Following is a link of a run the next day. Although there were two faults preventing him from qualifying on this run (a knocked bar and I gave him a bad entrance to the weaves), it is a nice high quality video which shows his athleticism.
Ganesha (at 3 years 1 month) now has 7 Double Q's and 566 points toward his MACH, Master Agility Champion title. We would like to accomplish that title this year. To date, the youngest Standard Poodle to MACH was 3 years 11 months old.
Ganesha has also qualified for the 2010 National Agility Championship which will be held in Tulsa, OK in March 2010.
My other SP boy Satchi, earned his MACH 4 title on May 24, only the second Standard Poodle to ever earn the title.

Wanted to let you know that Ganesha earned his (Master Agility Champion) MACH today in Endinboro Pa. He had 1st place in JWW and a 2nd place in standard. He is now the youngest standard poodle to have earned a MACH. He also had a 1st place in FAST (another AKC game).
So he is now MACH JCPioneers Ganesha NAP, OJP, XF
